2. Personal
Schedule
Events you have starred will be automatically added to your personal schedule. Your schedule appears in calendar mode by default, but clicking on the list icon (next to My Schedule) will change the view to the image on the right. You can change this view
back by clicking on the calendar icon (next to Agenda).
Official GAMA events appear as purple within your schedule. However, events that you schedule yourself will appear as blue (see On-the-fly Meeting at 10am). You can create these events
by clicking the plus sign in the upper-right of the screen.
If you registered for any events during your badge registration process, you can log in to the app to have it pre-populate your schedule with those events. Your badge number can be
found in your GAMA Expo registration confirmation email; click on the link to view receipt for badge number. The email is the same one you used to register for GAMA Expo.
3. Exhibitor
List
Here you can filter the exhibitors by business type, sponsorship, or view the full list. Reference their booth number quickly or tap on each exhibitor for a more details.
Starring an exhibitor will add it to your bookmarks (accessible by clicking on the hamburger menu in the top-right of this screen) for easy access in the future.
You can also mark which booths you visited (checkmark icon) and take notes (pencil icon) - useful functions to review after the show!
4. Attendee
Profile & Connections
You have the option of completing and publishing your profile to make connecting with other attendees easier. Information with a globe icon will be public in the attendee list while fields with the people icon will only be visible to attendees you connect
with through the app.
Connecting with another attendees requires one of you to request a one-time-use code that the other will enter. Once connected, you will be able to message, take notes about, schedule
meetings with, or share your schedule with this new connection. You are able to request/enter friend codes without publishing your profile to the public attendee list.
5. Premier
Presentations
From the events tab, you can view all of the scheduled Premier Presentations. Retailers must attend nine of these events to qualify for the Retailer Appreciation Box.
To track attendance in these events, you will complete a survey through the app at the end of each event and enter the unique code for that presentation. Analog options will be available for retailers who cannot or do not wish to download the app.
The "Rate Event" function is active on all events. We welcome any feedback you wish to share, as it helps cultivate continual improvement for the show.
6. Taking
Notes
Most aspects of the mobile app include a note function, indicated by a pencil icon. Your notes will be stored here filtered by recency and then by type. You can quickly reference the event or item that has attached notes.
You are able to email notes to yourself by clicking the letter icon in the top-right of the specific note screen or action icon in the top-right of the general note
screen. Note: if using iOS, you must use the native Mail app (not Gmail, Outlook, etc) to take advantage of this feature.
